Happy Tuesday!! I know this is going to sound super cheesy but I have dreamt about this day for years. The day that Josh and I would do a photo shoot with our first born baby. I had the immense pleasure of working with Ania, of Ania Photography, on my maternity shoot. So without a doubt I wanted her to be the one to shoot our first family pictures. She was an incredible joy to work with. Not to mention patient. You really don’t know what to expect with a newborn. The best advice I can give any of you looking to take pictures with your newborn is to have patience. And be sure to keep the photo shoot to an hour maximum! It’s all about making sure they are comfortable! My husband was a saint as usual during the photos making sure Henry was happy the entire time.

I cannot recommend Ania enough. Not only did she hand sew my maternity photo shoot dress, but she is a very talented photographer. If you live in the Chicago area be sure to check her out!

I had received many questions about my dress and Henry’s one piece. His one piece is sold out but I linked a similar one here. As for my dress, it’s from Baltic Born :) I linked it them here.

xoxo, P
