Pinwheels with Hillshire Farm Naturals Turkey Breast
When I was growing up one of my favorite “snacks” or appetizers my family would make would be these deli meat pinwheels. As Henry gets older I find myself struggling with making sure we have snacks on hand that are healthy. I recently swung by my Costco and saw this 3 pack of the Hillshire Farm Naturals Turkey Breast. We go through so much deli meat in our house and I love that you can actually freeze what you don’t use. Today I am sharing this super easy recipe for the deli Pinwheels. I can freeze them for up to 1-2 weeks and then I have them on hand if we ever have surprise guests!
Cream Cheese (4 oz/half a stick)
Slices of Hillshire Farm Naturals Turkey Breast
Handful of Arugula (you can also sub with chopped green onions)
*This recipe makes about 3 pinwheels. We kept two in the fridge and froze one. Make sure to pinch the ends of the aluminum foil to preserve the freshness (especially if you plan on freezing). I usually refrigerate them for about 4-6 hours before serving and then use a very sharp knife to slice.
